There are four possible Marketplace Statuses a user can have on Practice Exchange. If a Financial Advisor’s status is “Invite” or “Pending” they are not yet a user.
An “Invite” status indicates that the Financial Advisor has not yet been invited to the platform.
A “Pending” status indicates that the Financial Advisor has been invited, but has not accepted the invitation by creating their account on Practice Exchange. If a Financial Advisor is a user, their status might be “Joined” or “Activated”.
A “Joined” status indicates that the user has an account that is not yet activated.
An “Activated” status indicates that the user has an account that is activated, which is the ideal state for a user.
To invite a Financial Advisor who is not yet a user, their Marketplace Status has to be “Invite”. An invitation can also be resent to “Pending” marketplace status users.
Click “Invite”, then click “invite” again on the popup that appears to confirm.
The Financial Advisor you have sent the invitation to will receive an email in their inbox indicating you have invited them to join the platform, providing information about its features and benefits and a link to create their account.
