Once you navigate to Practice Exchange, you will be presented with a screen containing your information which was carried over through the Single Sign-On process. Throughout the process of creating your profile, you will be presented with information to audit for your ease, rather than inputting this information yourself.

The process of creating your profile begins with your contact information and zip code. This information is kept strictly confidential from other users. Your name, email address and zip code will never be shared with other users and will only be used for identification purposes for the Raymond James Succession and Acquisition Team and to calculate your matches based on proximity.

As you proceed through creating your profile, you will see that your profile is anonymous.

Next, you will review revenue information and indicate your interest on Practice Exchange between growth or succession. The information presented on the screens after the contact information can be edited to ensure accuracy.

You will then review your licenses and indicate whether they are accurate and up to date or if any other licenses should be added to your profile.

Next, select up to five areas of specialization, any relevant designations, and an avatar to differentiate your profile amongst the rest.

Finally, review the automatically generated headline and edit it to represent your personality and business strengths. Then, include any personal interests for other users to see which can serve as an icebreaker or conversation starter on the Practice Exchange platform.

That’s it! Your profile is now live and has been sent to a manager in your area for review. Practice Exchange profiles need to be approved to access the Match Pool, so if you do not see other profiles yet you will be notified when you can do so.

In general, users who are interested in growth will be approved to the Match Pool in 48 hours if they are eligible and users who are interested in succession are manually approved. If you are not approved within 48 business hours, feel free to follow-up with the Practice Exchange Support Team for assistance.
