Learn about your ICD indication of value and how to use the Valuation Tool

On your Dashboard page, you will see a section labelled “Your Practice's Estimated Range of Value” with a range of values and a pie chart. To learn more about your practice’s valuation and to see the valuation breakdown, click “Access Valuation Tool” from your Dashboard page. You can also hover your mouse over “Calculators” in the top menu and select “Valuation” from the dropdown.

Practice Exchange supports the ability to save multiple valuations directly onsite. To create your first valuation, click on the “New DCF Valuation” button.

On the Valuation page, you will see an explanation of the range presented on your Dashboard page. A range for your indication of value is provided that is the median of a Multiple of Revenue valuation.

*If you are a branch manager/owner, you will also have access to a Discounted Cash Flow valuation estimate, which you can access via a prompt at the bottom of the Multiple of Revenue valuation page.

The valuations are calculated using both information provided within your profile and a set of default factors. To edit the information used to calculate your valuation, click the “Valuation Inputs” tab on the right-hand side of the screen or the “Edit Practice Data” button.

Values can be edited within the drawer that pops out either by clicking and dragging the slider or by typing in the input box to the right of the slide. To see the new calculations based on the adjusted numbers, click the “Recalculate” button.

When you are done with your valuation, click ‘Save’ at the top of the page and enter a name for it in the pop-up. To access your previously saved valuations, hover over the three lines and click ‘Back to DCF List’.

Your previous valuations will now appear in a list where you can choose to Edit, Download or Delete it.
