Tips for writing your profile Headline and Description and creating a standout profile

Your Headline and Description sections offer you a chance to stand out from the

rest of the Practice Exchange users. If your profile doesn't answer a user's immediate

questions about you, your goals, and your business, they likely won't reach out for

you to fill in the blanks โ€” they'll skip over your profile.

Include these two key elements in your profile to help you get noticed:

1. A Concise Headline

Your headline should be specific and to the point. It should only be one

or two sentences, which is long enough to convey a highlight about your

practice and what you're aiming to accomplish.

2. A Detailed Description

Your description is the most important part of your profile. This section of your

profile allows you to provide qualitative information to complement the

quantitative data; it ties your profile together. In your description, you should go

into detail about your professional experience, your team (if you have one), your practice, what you hope to accomplish on Practice Exchange, and what you can offer a potential interested party. And don't forget to make it personal by sharing a bit about your hobbies and interests.

Your description is your opportunity to showcase your accomplishments and

demonstrate why a user should reach out to you. Don't let this space go to waste!

You can update your Headline & Description under the "Headline & Goals" section of the Edit Profile page.
