When a user signs up, the Manager assigned to them in the Advisor Inventory will receive an email asking whether they should be approved to the Match Pool. Depending on the interest the user chooses within their profile, the Manager will receive a different email and have different responsibilities.

Growth-Oriented Users

When a user signs up choosing a Growth interest including Buying or Becoming a Successor, the Manager will receive an email with the subject line “New Buyer Approval” asking whether or not they should be approved to the Match Pool. If the user should not be approved, the Manager should “Go to Account Approval Page” to disapprove the user within 48 hours of receiving the email, otherwise that user will be approved automatically. To disapprove a user, simply select the checkbox next to the user who should be disapproved and provide a reason.

Upon disapproving the user from the Match Pool, the user will receive an email notice informing them that they are ineligible for access to the Match Pool, however, they can still access other useful Practice Exchange features.

Upon approving the user to the Match Pool, the user will receive an email notification informing them that they are eligible for access to the Match Pool.

If the user should not be approved, the Manager should click the “Not Approved” button within the email. The Manager will then be directed to a confirmation page where they should select a reason for the disapproval from the dropdown menu. Then, confirm the disapproval by clicking “Yes, Please Disapprove” and complete the Approval Workflow for that user.

Upon disapproving the user from the Match Pool, the user will receive an email notification informing them that they are ineligible for access to the Match Pool, however, they can access other useful Practice Exchange features.

Note: If the disapproval status of a user needs to be changed for any reason, this can be done by granting a Match Pool Exception. An example of this would be if a user was previously disapproved and you now want to grant them access to the Match Pool. Please read this article to learn how to make a Match Pool Exception.
