If a user requests to have their profile deleted or removed from Practice Exchange, follow the steps below to hide the user's profile.

Hiding a user's profile means all of their profile data will remain in the system, but their profile will no longer be visible on the platform and they will not be able to log in.

*If a user would like all of their data erased from Practice Exchange, please reach out to support@findbob.io for assistance.

Steps to hide a user:

  1. Log into Practice Exchange

  2. Click on your name in the top-right corner and select "Admin View" from the dropdown

  3. Go to the "Users" page

  4. Search for the user you want to hide by typing their name in the search bar found towards the top-right side of the Users page, to the left of the icons.

  5. Select the user by clicking the box to the left of their name. Then, select the eye icon in the top-right corner of the page.

  6. After clicking the eye icon, you'll receive a popup box. The "Hide User" box will be preselected. If it is not, ensure you select it by checking off the box. Click "Ok" to hide the user.

  7. The popup box will close automatically and the user will be indicated as hidden by a blue eye icon with a slash through it to the left of their name.

  8. If the page refreshes back to the entire user list, repeat step four to search for the user.

To unhide a user and reinstate their profile, see help article "How to Unhide a User on Practice Exchange".
