Verify if a User Is Hidden

A user is indicated as hidden by a blue eye icon with a slash through it to the left of their name. Their hidden status can be seen whether you are searching the user from the Advisor Inventory or the User page.

How to Unhide a User

Unhiding a user will reinstate their profile on Practice Exchange and allow them to log in, as well as access any features they previously qualified for, such as the match pool. If applicable, unhiding a user means their profile will be visible on Practice Exchange.

Follow the steps below to unhide a user.

  1. From the Admin View > Users page, search for the user you'd like to unhide by typing their name in the search bar found towards the top-right, to the left of the icons.

  2. Select the user by clicking the box to the left of their name. Then, select the eye icon in the top-right corner of the page.

  3. After clicking the eye icon, you'll receive a popup box. The "Hide User" box will be preselected. Deselect this checkbox. Click "Ok" to unhide the user.

  4. Verify the user has been unhidden by searching for their name and confirming that you no longer see the blue eye icon with a slash beside their name.
