Receiving an expression of interest

Once you receive an expression of interest, you’ll be notified both by email and on the platform. Review your current expressions of interest under the “Review Expression of Interest” section of the Meeting Room.

Click the "Read Expression of Interest" in button to view the expression of interest submitted by the candidate. Their user drawer will open and the page will automatically scroll down to the expression of interest. The "Expression of Interest" section will also flash yellow for a few seconds to draw your attention.

You’ll have two options once you’ve reviewed an expression of interest. You can shortlist the expression of interest or archive it if you’re not interested in pursuing further discussions with that candidate.

If you’re interested in meeting with a candidate offline after reviewing their expression of interest, you’ll need to shortlist them, then send them an NDA. Click the "Send NDA" button in their user card to send them a blind NDA — the NDA will not have your name or information on it.

An NDA (Nondisclosure agreement) is provided complimentary in the Meeting Room for you to send to interested parties before meeting. This document allows you to freely exchange the necessary information about your business without worrying about the other party disclosing your business details.

At this point of the Meeting Room, you'll be able to send messages back and forth with your shortlisted candidates using Practice Exchange's robust chat system. Please keep in mind that the NDA has not be executed yet, so we strongly advise you to not share or request any personal or confidential information with or from the other party.

After sending the NDA request, the receiving party will be notified via email. You can keep track of all the NDA requests under the "Out for Signature" tab under "Execute NDA" section of the Meeting Room. You'll be notified via email when it's your turn to execute the NDA.
