Practice is well established in the local market for over 25 years. A client-focused business offering a broad array of asset management, retirement & estate planning services to help clients attain their financial goals. Also offer plans to accumulate assets for post-secondary education, a down payment for home purchase and other worthwhile purposes. Involved in mortgage and credit referrals to help clients and prospective clients with debt management. Assist clients with tax planning opportunities and refer to tax experts for income tax preparation to round out the plan. An opportunity to get into an established boutique business with a loyal client base. Advisor will consider outright sale to the ideal candidate.

Summary of Business

Primary clients are nearing retirement, or in retirement. Typical client is 60+ years of age, well-known to advisor and prefers a client-focused approach with face-to-face contact and periodic telephone updates. Client base is primarily centred in Fort Lauderdale with some families residing in outlying areas such as Boca Raton, West Palm Beach and Jupiter. Successful continuity partner/successor would have CFP or pursuing CFP. Ideally would have 10+ years in the financial services industry with a focus on Asset Management, Retirement planning and Estate planning. Has experience in dealing with elderly clients in a patient, honest, empathetic way. Advisor has a long tenured part-time administrative assistant who would likely be eager to stay on with the ideal successor candidate.

Growth Opportunities

Many of my clients have family members (brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren) as well as other relatives, friends, and current & former business associates which are excellent referral opportunities for the motivated and growth-oriented candidate. Several are homeowners with substantial equity, some owning second homes or rental properties which may eventually be sold to provide proceeds to fund transition to a rental apartment, retirement residence or nursing home. Possibility for the ambitious advisor to introduce an in-house income tax preparation service. Will consider an outright sale to the ideal candidate.
